I was watching my regular news this morning and they were talking about first lady Michelle Obama responding to a book written about her and her husband. She was explaining why she was not a angry black woman. I have read various blogs and comments on facebook about this very subject. Why are black women being singled out ?We are just expressing ourselves. I googled Angry Black Woman and there are 11,400,000 articles and comments on this subject. Also you can find on YouTube 4,330 videos So I thought to myself, are we angry and if so why? When some of us speak our minds ,we do with a lot of passion and some people feel it comes across as angry. I do not feel that Black women or any woman should be scrutinized every times she has an opinion. There seems to be a war on Black women and I am just trying to understand where all the Hate is coming from.

Well I will say there are several things that black women are mad about but not the sterotypical things you hear about. Some are very assertive and some people do not like that so, they will say we are angry. When other women are upset they do not get labeled as angry white woman, you just dismiss it and no label is applied.
